佐治亚理工学院Juan Rogers教授应邀来我中心进行学术交流

    2016年5月11日下午,佐治亚理工学院Juan D. Rogers教授应邀来我中心进行学术交流,中心主任刘云教授、叶选挺讲师以及有关博士生在主楼418会议室与Rogers教授举行会谈。
   首先,Rogers教授依次听取了中心闫哲、程旖婕、白旭和桂秉修4位博士生的最新研究进展及撰写论文的汇报,并针对论文的修改和完善进行了讨论,给出相关指导意见。随后,Rogers教授与刘云教授就目前的研究进展及下一步的合作意向进行了深入交流,双方均表现出在未来进行学术合作的强烈意愿。最后,Rogers教授就定性研究与定量研究的结合、案例研究在论文中的重要性、论文研究框架的制定、论文标题、摘要及结论部分的撰写技巧等问题和与会的教师、同学们进行了互动讨论,并回答了师生们所提出的问题。
  上述活动进一步加强了佐治亚理工公共政策学院的相关研究团队与我中心之间的交流与合作,为今后在创新管理、数据挖掘等领域的合作研究奠定了良好的基础。
 

报告人简介:
Juan D. Rogers, received his Ph.D. in Tech Research from Virginia University of Technology in 1996, and currently Professor of Public Policy in Georgia Institute of Technology, Adjunct Professor in Beijing Institute of Technology, and Vice-Chairman of R & D Project Committee of American Institute of Evaluation. Research areas include modeling R & D progress, R & D impact assessment within the framework of human technology capital, technology transfer, R & D policy and evaluation, social and technical factors interaction in the process of information technology development, and information technology policy. Professor Juan D. Rogers has an international influence in R & D policy evaluation. Published over 20 papers in well-known international journals; coauthored four publications; and presented in more than 50 international conferences. In addition, Juan D. Rogers professor has been a principal investigator or co-investigator in more than 10 national projects, including the United States, Europe, Argentina, Chile and other countries.He has been consultant on science, technology and innovation policy to the Ministry of Science of Technology of Argentina (MINCyT), the Corporation for Industrial Development of Chile (CORFO), the National Institute of Agricultural Technology of Argentina (INTA), the School of Engineering of the Universidad de los Andes of Colombia, the King Abdul Assiz City of Science and Technology of Saudi Arabia (KACST), the National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research in the USA (NCDDR), and the World Bank.
